Where does it happen that two Pakistani Muslim youth playing Bosnian Nasheeds on radio, interviewing Indian Muslim youth, promoting Rohina Malik, a Pakistani American Muslim writer and actor, who is doing monologs of 5 different Muslim women of different nationalities. Affected by post 911 racism, hate and stereotyping these women talk through Rohina. It happens only in America where despite of all faith phobias, or let me be more clear Islam phobia, Muslims are free to express themselves, not only can promote the message of love, peace and unity freely, but also demonstrate it on air and on the stage.
Kashan and Salman Malik are two Pakistani young men who became mentor to many young Muslims from Balkans, especially from Bosnia. They are involved with this young Muslim population who had been migrated to US in the recent past or were born here after their parents left the war torn country . Islam for them is just a religion which was the religion of their parents and grandparents. There is nothing more to it. Ashhad, a sixteen year old senior at Niles West High School in Skokie Illinois leads the largest student club in the school. The Quran Study Club at Niles West High School is by far one of the largest Muslim students’ clubs in an American school. It has more than hundred members. They all pray Jumah Salath in the prescribed way with Adhan and Khutba. This club not only does Halqas for religious and spiritual enrichment but frequently organize other activities also. Last year they went for a paint ball game. This year they are organizing citywide basket ball tournament with a restriction that each team should have at least 2 players from their Islamic club.

The point is not to promote the events but to commend these young Muslims for their activism and also appreciate the freedom we enjoy in this adopted land of ours. No doubt there are Islamophobes and hate mongers but they are in minority and we as Muslims should not fall into the trap of reverse racism.
